In this piece we’ll be debating bounce rate, bringing up some of our clients’ questions and investigating some of the misconceptions surrounding the topic. Here at the LeadByte office, we’ve recently had some clients debating the importance of Google Analytics’ ‘bounce rate’. One of our clients highlighted that during the testing process for a new feature on their landing page, the new feature took their bounce rate from averaging around 45-50% to a whopping 90+%. The feature didn’t change the page aesthetically and the site appeared to be running as expected, prompting the client to question the sudden increase in users bouncing from the page. To help our client understand and try to solve this problem, we wanted to put together a case study. In order to do this, we would go back to basics and investigate bounce rate from the ground up, meanwhile contributing to the bounce rate debate.
There has been a lot of controversy in recent years about whether to use all-in-one systems or integrated systems. The integrated systems method functions similarly to a team; for example, in a football team, 11 players each do their specific jobs to the best of their abilities in order to help the team score a goal(s) and win the game. An all-in-one system, on the other hand, does not work as a team but rather tries to be the star player, with mixed outcomes. In this post, we'll show you how consumers who opt for an integrated systems approach get the same level of service as those who go for an all-in-one system, with the exception that the integrated system is significantly superior. Why? Because the integrated systems approach specializes in each specific area of knowledge and the systems that are merged together are experts in their respective domains, users of this product will receive the highest level of service from start to finish.

At LeadByte, we're frequently asked how the platform would assist the end-user/business and their present operations. It's one thing to tell prospects what LeadByte can do; it's quite another to show them how useful the platform can be to their operations and bottom line. As a result, we've put together this case study based on a freelancing client who has seen benefits after only two months of utilizing LeadByte. For the sake of anonymity, we'll refer to this client as Roger.
